Dr. Baker joined Lynchburg Pulmonary Associates in 1995 after completing a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Wake Forest University. Board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary diseases and critical care, his interests include pneumonia, lung cancer diagnostics, critical care and health care quality. He serves as Centra Health's medical director for critical care and is on Centra's Board of Directors as the chair of the Patient Care Committee. He is an experienced clinical researcher in the fields of COPD, asthma, pneumonia, thromboembolic disease and sepsis.

Dr. Hardison joined Lynchburg Pulmonary Associates in 2006 after completing a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Duke University. He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine. His interests include all aspects of pulmonary and critical care medicine including pleural diseases with a focus on lung cancer.

Dr. Khoury joined Lynchburg Pulmonary Associates in 2000 after
completing a fellowship in Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care, and Sleep
Medicine at Duke University. He is board certified in internal
medicine, pulmonary diseases, and critical care. He is the first
physician to serve our area as a board certified specialist in Sleep
Medicine and he has a particular interest in sleep disorders. He serves
as the medical director of pharmacy and therapeutics for Centra Health.

Dr. Milam trained at the Medical College of Virginia and Virginia Commonwealth University and the Medical University of South Carolina before coming to Lynchburg in 1988. He serves as the Centra Health medical director for sleep disorders and is past president of the Virginia Thoracic Society. He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary diseases, sleep medicine and critical care and is experienced in clinical research. He is the Medical Director of the Sleep Disorders Center at Centra Health and the Medical Director of the Respiratory Therapy Department at Central Virginia Community College.

Dr. Plankeel joined Lynchburg Pulmonary Associates in 2003 after completing fellowship training in pulmonary diseases,critical care and sleep medicine at Duke University Medical Center. He is board certified in pulmonary diseases, critical care, sleep medicine and internal medicine. He enjoys all aspects of pulmonary and sleep medicine and has a particular interest in caring for patients with pulmonary hypertension. He serves as the Director for Respiratory Care for Centra Health.

Lisa Geier received a Degree in Nursing from Lynchburg College
in 1983 and a Masters in Nursing from the University of Virginia in
1994. She joined Lynchburg Pulmonary Associates in 1997 and received a
Post-Masters Nurse Practitioner Certificate from the Medical College of
Virginia in 1999. She is certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. She
is experienced in pulmonary nursing and clinical research. She has been
a study coordinator since 2000.

Tracy Langebeck joined LPA in 2004. She received her Master's degree and Nurse Practitioner certificate from Old Dominion University and is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Mrs. Langebeck has a special interest in sleep medicine and pulmonary hypertension. She is coordinating the sleep disorders clinic and pulmonary hypertension clinic at Lynchburg Pulmonary.
